Starting the New Year in the Win Column

The Lions start the New Year off right with a 80-66 win over the Harcum Bears. The Lions are now 11-4 on the season.

 

Harcum opened up the scoring with a 3 and the Lions responded by scoring 14 unanswered. This was Harcum's only lead of the game. The Lions would head into halftime up 38-27. The Lions came out of halftime scoring 12 unanswered to make it 50-27. The Lions found their largest lead of the game (29) from an Amaud Bennett three with about 12 minutes left in the game, Lions lead 61-32. The game finished 80-66.

 

Victor Ezeh was the Lions leading scorer with 19 points, while also having 8 rebounds an assist,  a steal and a block

Alex Obase was the leading rebounder with 10, he had 4 points and 2 blocks as well

Richard Hall, Jr. led the Lions in assists with 4, always willing to make the extra pass

 

The Lions will head on the road to the Westmoreland County Community College in Youngwood, PA. on Saturday. This will be the first of five straight road games before returning to The Den on Monday, January 26th against Montgomery College.
