The Lions are now 8-5 on the season after beating the Frederick Cougars 69-51. Frederick are now 0-6 on the year. The Lions gained a one point lead just under 17 minutes when Jaylen Amoruso made both of his shots from the line 9-8. The Lions would double up the Cougars 24-12 after Chukwuma Aduaka completed the three point play with nine and a half minutes left to play in the half. The Lions were up 30-19 but gave up 5 straight points in the last 3 minutes sending us to halftime with a score of 30-24 Lions lead. Amear Johnson had a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds leading the team in both. Murray Grant was right behind Johnson with 17 points. Jordan Foster led the team with 4 assists.
