Lions Return From North Carolina 0-2 On The Trip

The Lions come back from their trip to Cape Fear, North Carolina with two humbling losses. The first came on Friday against Brunswick Community College 89-65. The second on Saturday against Cape Fear Community College 74-53.

The game against Brunswick CC was either not streamed or is no longer available to be viewed. Either way the stats make it seem like the Lions just could not get their shots to fall, shooting 22-72 (30.6%) from the floor, 5-33 (15.2%) from three and 15-26 (57.7%) at the line. Amear Johnson led the way with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Johnson shot 5-10 from the floor and 4-4 at the line.

A 26-6 run at the start of the second half is what derailed the Lions in this one. The shooting woes continued on Saturday as the Lions shot 22-70 (31.4%) from the floor and 3-22(13.6%) from three. 

The Lions have two games again this weekend, both at home, against Jamestown Community College on Saturday the 20th and Hagerstown Community College on the 21st. Both games are scheduled to start at 3:30pm.
