"Coach Rudy" Lions Alumni Game
As a men's basketball student-athlete, coach, athletics specialist, and CCBC Athletics Hall of Famer (inaugural Class of 2011), Cleveland Rudisill was part of the fabric that is CCBC Athletics. Sadly, on Sunday, May 26, 2019, the beloved "Coach Rudy" passed away.
Each year, the CCBC Dundalk Men's Basketball pre-season is highlighted by a scrimmage against the Lions' alumni. For the past several years, Coach Rudisill has returned to coach the alumni team.
In remembrance of Coach Rudy, we are honored to announce that this game will now be known as the "Cleveland 'Coach Rudy' Rudisill Lions Alumni Game." We hope that this game will be an annual reminder of his impact on our intercollegiate athletics program.
Please join us as we remember and honor Coach Rudy, his memory, and his legacy.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the game was not played last year. The second annual "Cleveland 'Coach Rudy' Rudisill Lions Alumni Game" will be played on Wednesday October 13, 2021 at 7 PM. Spectators are not allowed, but you can watch the game on our Live Stream at www.youtube.com/ccbcdundalklions.
