Lions split with Del Tech for a second time

The Lions split the double header with Delaware Tech, this time in Delaware and again the Lions won the first game (5-1) and lost the second (6-2). 

In game one the Lions jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the 1st and never lost it. Nate Griffin pitched a great game giving up his first run in the bottom of the 6th when the Lions were up 5-0 at the time.

In game two the Lions were down 3-0 heading into the top of the 3rd. The Lions were able to break the donut with a homerun from Chaney Skeans. In the top of the 4th Doyle McNew made it on base via a walk and was brought home by Kyle Hansel but the Lions were still down 3-2.

Mike Newsome: 4-13, 3 Doubles, 4 RBI and a BB

Matt Fino: 4-11, Double, 4 RBI, 3 R and 3 BB

Jouseph Rodriguez: 3-10, Double and RBI

Kyle Hansel: 2-6, RBI, 2 R and a BB
