Cardinals defeat the Lions 12-1, 13-5

The Lions lost both games against the CCBC Catonsville Cardinals, the first at home 12-1 and 13-5 at Catonsville.
Your CCBC Dundalk Lions lose 12-1 in a rough game to the CCBC Catonsville Cardinals. The Lions were held to just two hits on the day. The Lions only had nine baserunners but managed to get the bases loaded in the 7th for Chaney Skeans to get the sacrifice fly and get the Lions on the board.
On Thursday the Lions led the game off with a Jouseph Rodriguez double then with two outs Doyle McNew brought him home with a double of his own. The Cardinals came right back with two, two run innings and were up 4-1 after two innings. In the top of the 3rd Kyle Hansel singled and was brought home by a Jack Brack double. Brack was brought home by McNew to cut the lead down to one, 4-3. In the top of the 4th Nick White led off the inning with a single and was brought home by Hansel to tie the game at 4-4. The Cardinals wouldn't give up and scored one of their own in the bottom of the 4th and the 5th to go back on top 6-4. The Lions weren't done either scoring one more with Hansel bringing White home, Lions down 6-5. In the bottom of the 6th the floodgates opened and the Lions gave up 7 runs. The Lions lost 13-5 after eight innings.
