Farewell to Rich Barnett
Rich Barnett retires from CCBC after 32 years of dedicated service. He began his career at CCBC in the bookstore and then moved into the Athletic Operations Assistant position at the Dundalk campus nine years ago. Rich will be missed by Dundalk staff, coaches, and student-athletes.
"You've been far more than a coworker; you've been a guiding light, a teammate, and a friend to everyone who passed through the athletic office doors. As you retire, may you find the rest, adventure, and fulfillment you so richly deserve. Thank you for everything," said Greate White, CCBC Dundalk Athletic Administrator. Melissa Miller, CCBC Director of Athletics, had the following remarks, "CCBC Athletics has been truly fortunate to have Rich as part of our program for the past nine years with the Dundalk Lions. His welcoming personality, spirit of hospitality, and big heart have made him a favorite among co-workers, coaches, and student-athletes. While we will miss his presence in our daily activities, we are grateful for the dedication and spirit he brought to the Dundalk Lion community. We wish Rich nothing but the absolute best on his very well-deserved retirement."
Rich's shoes will be hard to fill. Congratulations on your retirement!
